Julie Helms spent a decade as the youngest person — and only woman — in boardrooms across five continents. This is the course where she teaches everything she learned. Six to eight modules. No calls. No fluff. Just the system.
You prepare for meetings and still leave feeling like you were not heard — your ideas land differently coming from someone else's mouth ten minutes later.
You have watched people with less experience receive more respect, and you cannot work out what they are doing that you are not.
You freeze when someone interrupts you, talks over you, or dismisses what you said — and you replay it for hours afterward.
You know the technical side of your role better than almost anyone in the room, but the way you are perceived does not match the way you perform.
You have never been taught how rooms actually work — the micro-signals, the social choreography, the small things that compound into undeniable presence.
Specific language, specific scenarios, and a structured system — not individual tips you have to piece together yourself.
Before a single word is spoken, the room is already telling you something. This module teaches you how to read it. You will learn how to identify formal and informal hierarchies, understand where attention is currently sitting, and make a positioning decision that works in your favour — all in the first two minutes. This is the foundation everything else builds on.
Being interrupted is not a small thing. It shifts the energy of a room and, if you do not respond correctly, it signals to everyone watching that the interruption was acceptable. This module gives you word-for-word responses, specific posture and tone guidance, and a system for reclaiming your thread without aggression or apology. Including what to do when someone takes credit for your idea after the fact.
Most women have been taught that disagreement is risky. This module reframes that entirely. You will learn how to challenge a senior leader's position, object to a group consensus, or hold your ground under sustained pressure — and do it in a way that builds your credibility rather than costs it. The line between being perceived as "difficult" and being perceived as authoritative is a matter of language and timing. Both are teachable.
This is the module students keep coming back to. It covers the micro-behaviours that most people do not know they are performing — the way you enter a room, where you choose to sit, what you do with your hands, whether you accept hospitality when it is offered. Individually, each behaviour seems small. Collectively, they form an impression that is nearly impossible to override after the fact. This module is about getting them right from the start.
The composure compounding framework: the observation that the people who carry the most authority in a room are rarely the loudest. Presence is built through specificity, stillness, and the precise use of silence. You will learn when to speak, how to pace your sentences, and why the pause before you answer is often more powerful than the answer itself.
Professional dinners, site visits, and client events are where relationships are solidified and where the most important conversations happen. This module covers the full etiquette of both hosting and being hosted — seating, toasting, ordering, navigating conversation, handling difficult guests, and the behaviour after the event that determines whether the relationship progresses.
The follow-through. Most people are good in the room and invisible afterward. This module teaches a system for staying relevant, following up with intention, and building the kind of professional relationships that open opportunities — without feeling transactional, performative, or exhausting to maintain.
You will recognise yourself in at least one of the following.
Ambitious women who know they are capable but feel overlooked, talked over, or not taken seriously in professional settings.
Women who have recently been promoted and want to move through senior spaces with confidence, not anxiety.
Women who were never taught the unwritten rules of professional rooms and are tired of figuring it out by trial and error.
Women who want to build the kind of presence that gets remembered — in meetings, at dinners, and in every room that matters.
Women who already follow Julie and want the full framework, not just the free content.
"Nobody handed me a guide. I built the frameworks myself, one high-stakes situation at a time."
Hi, I'm Julie. I started my career at 15 and spent years as the youngest person in the room — and almost always the only woman — navigating boardrooms, site visits, and dinners across five continents in oil and gas.
Now I teach them. I have over 266,000 followers who come to me for exactly this — the real, specific, practised knowledge of how professional rooms work and how to command them. I am also the author of Well Played.
This course is the most complete version of everything I know.
— JulieI have been in senior meetings for three years and never understood why I kept leaving feeling invisible. Module 2 alone changed how I show up every single day. Within a month my manager told me she had noticed a shift. I have since been asked to lead two client presentations I would never have been considered for before.
I grew up without anyone to teach me how professional rooms worked. I always felt like everyone else had been given a manual I never received. This course is that manual. I finished it in a weekend and went into Monday feeling like a completely different person.
The small things module is the one I keep coming back to. I had no idea how much I was signalling uncertainty without knowing it. The changes I made were tiny. The difference in how people respond to me is not.
The system Julie built over a decade in high-stakes international boardrooms — structured so you can apply it immediately, in your next meeting, at your next dinner, in your next room that matters.
The posture, the language, and the behaviour shifts that separate women who get taken seriously from women who get overlooked — even when their skills are identical.
A private Skool community where you can bring real situations, workshop responses, and receive feedback from Julie and a group of women navigating the same rooms.
Every module, every update, and every addition Julie makes to the course is included with your enrolment at no extra cost. This is not a subscription.
Every student is welcomed into Julie's private community. Bring a real situation you are navigating and workshop it with Julie and other women in the course. This is where the frameworks become habits — not through theory, but through application in real time.
Julie's personal preparation framework distilled into a single-page reference. What to know, what to observe, and what to decide before you walk into any high-stakes room. Print it, keep it, use it before every meeting that matters.
